Meme Division to host Red Cross general assembly

Members of the Cameroon Red Cross society in Meme Division are currently leaving no stone unturned to ensure a smooth organisation of the 25th National General Assembly schedule to take place in Kumba-Chief town of Meme Division in the month of November.

According to the Divisional President of the Red Cross Meme,Hon Abel Mukete,this is the first time this conference is taking place out of the Regional headquarters and Kumba is privileged,reasons why the chapter is doing all to give the about 180 delegates a superb organisation.

To accord a hitch free organisation the Red Cross headquarters in Buea Road Kumba,is busy like a beehive with numerous meeting taking place.Already,all the commissions have been installed and empowered to swing into actions.

As concern the activities of the Meme Chapter so far,Hon Abel disclosed that,as a humanitarian body,they have donated medical equipments to most of the health units in Meme, and of course participated actively in the various inter quarter football tournament organised by the various municipal authorities in the Division.
