Menji Mayor breaking new grounds in development of Council

The Mayor of Menji Council in Fontem Sub Division, Lebialem HRH Chief Barrister Atabongwung Martin Forndong and his collaborators are leaving no stone unturned to give the Menji Municipality a new facelift.

Since taking office some nine months ago, Mayor Chief Forndong has embarked on several projects to paint a positive picture of his administration.

Sanitation has been one of his priorities as he personally visits the market to ensure everything is in order and some times participate in the cleaning himself. He has also tackled the population to keep their environments clean, by regularly sensitizing them on how to life healthy lives.

The Mayor and collaborators also took the pains to repair portions of the highway from Beleuh to Menji after the heavy rains gave way. The soft spoken Mayor has assured the population of better days ahead in the development of the Municipality.

Many people The Star spoke to said, the Mayor and his team are doing their best and advised that all hands must be on deck for the Council to succeed.
