Mother abandons two kids in Yassa, Dla

Two children have been abandoned by their mother in Douala. The two kids aged three years and eight months were abandoned in a bar in the Yassa.

On Friday, September 12, 2014, little Adriana Hillary Simo Dombeu, three years, and his younger brother about eight months of age were taken to "Mary Magdalene" orphanage in Ward Pk 9 in Douala.

According to an eye witness, on Wednesday at around 1 p.m., a girl accompanied by two children alighted from his taxi with a small suitcase.

She approached the bar where he drank and kept the children, telling her daughter to wait for her outside. The small girl refused and the supposed mother bought a bottle of orange juice to compensate the child, without success.

She finally left the bar and placed little boy that she carried in her arms by a motorcycle parked outside the bar. She told her daughter to watch his younger brother and left the suitcase near them.

When the police searched the suitcase, they found clothing and the birth certificate of Adriana Hillary Simo Dombeu, born July 12, 2011 in Douala.

His father, Walker Williams, 34, is trader by profession. The mother, Sylbille Gaëlle Siewe, was born in 1992.
