The Governor of the Centre Region, Roger Moïse Eyene Nlom, on Friday August 2, 2013 urged a dozen newly-appointed regional delegates of some ministries and parastatals to be models to their subordinates.
Commissioning the delegates in the presence of friends, colleagues and relatives, the Governor cautioned that the Centre Region is a difficult terrain marked by corruption and other vices, adding that the new delegates will be assessed as soon as they start work.
The ministries and public institutions concerned included public health, social affairs, forestry and wildlife, youth affairs and civic education, livestock and fisheries, posts and telecommunications, State property and land tenure as well as Cameroon Telecommunications (CAMTEL).
"I feel honoured proud and happy and will do my best to serve the Yaounde population with the quality of services that CAMTEL is offering," said Judith Achidi Achu, CAMTEL's new Urban Delegate for Yaounde.
