This academic discourse comes in a time where the Catholic University Institute of Cameroon (CUIB) ‘’The Entrepreneurial University’’, matriculated over 630 freshmen into the university on Saturday 15th November, 2014.

This discourse was delivered during the matriculation ceremony as the Catholic Institute of Cameroon (CUIB) looks forward to a formidable future for the students. Barrister Nico Halle in his keynote address stated clearly that the entrepreneurial university empowers students not only to compare but succeed thus, distinguishes itself from other state universities.

A venerated lawyer and churchman, Nico Halle’s discourse focused on Education and Morality. He said morality is the spring board, the backbone of education and therefore advised the freshmen not to give in to temptation. Hear him "the most important thing to a woman is her virginity, and when she loses it, she loses all her body," Ntumfor Barrister Halle said, calling on the fresh boys and girls to maintain their bodies as if it is the temple of the Lord.

He hammered on some illegal and sinful social ills like homosexuality, prostitution and many others, calling on the freshmen to refrain from such demonic acts.

The guest speaker also drew inspiration from Nicolas Murray Buckler’s four categories of human beings. Those who make things happen, where he called on the students to avoid promiscuity and be of decent and recommendable character. Secondly, those who do nothing but exploit those who make things happen, urging the students to refrain from scamming, gambling and other dubious practices. Then, he talked on those who live in the dream world and finally the spoilers.

The Barrister in his key note address borrowed from the words of a great scientist Albert Einstein “the peace that reigns above cannot be kept by force’’. He emphasized on peace saying it should reign in all aspects of life.

He quoted the instance of the Green Tree Peace accord, under the supervision of the former secretary general of the UN Koffi Anan, signed between Cameroon’s President Paul Biya and Olusegun Obasanjo Nigerian President at the time over the Bakassi Peninsular palaver.

He went further to say that Cameroon and Nigeria won’t have been heard if they were at war and therefore countries should learn to resolve their problems through dialogue. He equally congratulated the STUGA, student government for maintaining peace, harmony and tranquility and the effective prevention of stikes.

In an interview granted to the Press which ended the ceremony, the guest speaker stated ’’Academicians have destroyed the world but not all but those who don’t have as foundation God and spirituality have spoiled the world.

Without God, you cannot rule because God is the foundation and ruling without God destroys the world. Take away God and you rule the world but can you explain to me why poverty has taken the world?

It is because academicians have spoiled the world and that’s why I chose the theme Knowledge and Morality’’ He ended by congratulating the Chancellor, President, Staff, students and stakeholders of CUIB and that God should bless them and especially the media who disseminate and share God’s word because without the media, the world will know no God.
