Road accident: Two parish priests die on Douala - Bafoussam highway

The horrifying car crash occurred around 3am on Tuesday 14th October 2014 when the vehicle of the clergy men was smashed by a 70 seats capacity bus of the Moghamo inter-urban Travel Agency.

The parish priests died at the spot and their SUV Rav 4 was damaged beyond recognition one kilo metre from Elele in Santchou in the West Region along the National road no 5 linking the economic capital, Douala to Bafoussam.

Meanwhile no passenger in the matriculated bus NW 665 AN sustained any injury.

The remains of the parish priests were taken to the Central hospital mortuary in Melon of the West Region.

The two parish priests: Long Ticko Henry Pierre and Claude Ntantio Lekoudou hail from the Mbakwa and the Mbakambo Parish in Melon of the West Region.

According to passengers of the bus their driver attempted in vain to avoid collision with the approaching SUV RAV4 which was at top speed but only succeed in avoiding victims in the bus.
