Strategic sites at the central town of Yaounde were ideal places for some muslim faithfuls as they celebrated the feast of Tabaski.
At the St. Anastasi Park at Warda, the celebration was at its peak. It was easy to find Muslim faithfuls both young and old enjoying themselves around the magnificent natural Park.
Some were busy taking snapshots, while others gathered in small groups and chatted with all rigor. Some women unlike men could not help but admire their well designed dresses and elegant hair styles.
Children in their corners played around with their toys as the magnificent Feast day passed by groups at night, and whole others were eating and drinking.
The St. Anastasi Park was a better place for recreation after having performed morning prayers and sacrifice. To some, it was not time to eat and drink it was time to relax and chat around.
Meanwhile others took it as an opportunity to visit restaurants for their first time. Others rather resorted to drinking only and merry making. Young girls were found brandishing their skins with Tattoos commonly called “Hausa Lilly”.
