The commune of Mfou in the heart of PNDP

In recent years, this community no longer faces water and electricity problems as was previously the case.

With the creation of the National Programme for Participatory Development (PNDP) in 2004, the municipality of Mfou has become more and more modern.

In 10 years, she has already benefited from several projects carried out by the program. According the Mayor, Roger Belinga, the financing of these achievements amounted to 400 million. Electricity, water, roads, tools, motorcycles and many other infrastructure points are visible.

At the Ndibene grouping, they welcomed the great achievement of PNDP. The village is electrified for some months which brought great joy to the people.

This investment cost 75 million f. thanks to electricity, we get information with radios and televisions stations that we purchased. Our children are now studying without problems at any hour of the night", noted Thierry Mbarga, citizen of the Ndibene group.

The commune of Mfou, one of the first to be supported by PNDP, totals to date 24 drilling at the rate of six million each. The gratitude of the people was expressed during the closing events marking the 10th anniversary of PNDP.
