Three shops swept away by a mudslide in Edea

The disaster occurred Tuesday, October 07, 2014 in the city center of Edea.

Three shops were buried as a result of a mudslide that occurred in Edea, Tuesday, October 07, 2014. The Earth on which these houses were based collapsed following heavy rain which struck the city.

No loss of human life was recorded during this incident. However, the damage is considerable, the entire contents of a bar, as well as that of two shops for the sale of electronic devices were buried.

Reacting to this disaster, the prefect of the Department of the Sanaga Maritime called for a meeting.
