In the night of 8-9 June 2014, two elements from the battalion airborne troops in Koutaba (Btap), according to various sources, violated in a classroom of a secondary school at Achigachia, a 13 year old girl.

On her way to a wedding which was taking place not far from the military barracks of the locality, she fell on these two soldiers looking for a victim.

The two soldiers caught and abused her in turns before abandoning her in tears before a classroom.

Passers-by quickly recognized the girl who was transported to the home of her parents. Here, she reported that the soldiers took her in a classroom before sexually abusing her.

The victim's father went very early the following morning to the army barracks to file a complaint.

The head of the station advised him to wait for a gathering so that his daughter could identify the perpetrators.

The raped girl however recognized one of them and the father of the victim was told that an investigation will be opened immediately.

Since then, information on the where about of the two soldiers became untraceable.

According to some, both men were simply returned to their home base.

To get to the bottom on August 16, 2014, the victim's father went to Mokolo to meet the Commander of the Rapid Intervention Battalion.

Residents of the locality, angered by the incident required that the two soldiers be punished.
