The Paramount Chief of Buea, H.R.H. Chief S.M.L. Endeley is dead.

Chief S.M.L. Endeley, 92, was the first West Cameroonian to sit as a judge of the Supreme Court of Cameroon.

The much respected Anglophone leader who had a historic 90th birthday celebration on the 9th of June 2013 led by his grandchildren was a committed member of the ruling CPDM party and a leading figure in the South West Elites Association, SWELA.
