In the heart of the Cameroon Baptist Convention, CBC Headquarters in Nkwen now stands an imposing cream white building expected to host some projects and services of the Health Board.

Meeting in Bamenda Monday June 8, 2015, the executive board decided to dedicate the new building and service cars.

As to why the dedication, the Director of CBC Health Service Prof Tih Pius Muffih explained that the dedication was a show of thanksgiving to God who has provided the resources for the realization of the projects. “We are also asking for his blessings on the occupants on those who are getting inside to the public that they will be very acceptable.” He added.

Noting that prior to the construction of the new building and cars some projects and services of the Health Board were practically patching in others areas of the center, Prof Tih added that the building will host projects like the Lillian Foundation and the Socio-economic empowerment of persons with disabilities SEEPD while the cars will be for services and personnel transportation.

“The vehicles in particular will be used in the Littoral and Center Regions to reach out to the periphery to take care of people who are either living with HIV-AIDS or are pregnant and these are four-wheel drive vehicles so they can go almost anywhere in the hinterlands,” Prof Tih Said.

Talking to hilltopvoice Agoh Glory and Awa Jacque-Chirac Managers of the Lillian Foundation and the SEEPD projects respectively observed that new office space will be a strong motivation for the delivery of better.

The building Prof Tih told hilltopvoices was realized with funds from The Lillian Foundation, Christopher Blending Mission CBM Germany, Center for Disease Control and Prevention and PEFA.
