The Eglise Evangelique du Cameroun has a new Shepard. Pastor Dongmo Ouande Salmon was installed at the Nlongkak parish, with a call to be at the service of Christians to listen to their needs and save their souls from the wages of sin.

The call was made by the president of the Centre and South 1 Synod region, Rev Pastor Philippe Nguete during a special church service to commission the prelate on Sunday, April 3, 2016, at Nlongkak parish.
Speaking during the installation service, Rev Pastor Philippe Nguete called on the parishioners to have confidence on the young pastor who has been called by God and sent to their community to preach his word. “I expect the newly installed to be a pastor according to the will of God. He should not be a pastor who is out just to look for what to eat but a pastor who will at the same time be a missionary.” the synod president said.
The newly installed Pastor Dongmo in a vote of thanks said despite the immensity of the task ahead of him; he promises to respect the will of God. “I am ready to go forward with what I already started in this mission in the past years. I will take the gospel to people who have not yet heard,” he added.
The 39-year-old Pastor, is a holder of a diploma in theology obtained in 2013. He also holds a master’s degree in Hydrology and Environmental studies obtained in 2007 from the University of Dschang. He was consecrated as a Pastor at EEC Mbouda and has also worked as an evangelist. He is the fifth pastor to serve at EEC Nlongkak Parish.
He is married to Rev Felicité Dongmo, parish Pastor at Eglise Evangelique Du Cameroun, Biyem Assi parish in Yaoundé.
