It was an exceptional day at the 'Eglise Presbyteriene Camerounaise' Tohi Parish, Yaounde on Sunday March 30, 2014. The event was the commissioning of the new Parish Pastor, Rev. Jacques Duclaire Sap, who received a call from the parish.
Christians, relatives and well wishers thronged the church building to celebrate the solemn event. In his sermon, the Moderator of the 57th General Assembly of the EPC, Rev. Félix Ebo'o Zambe, said Rev. Sap accepted the call of the parish and so he has to show compassion to Christians and non-Christians alike.
Drawing from the Holy Bible, Rev. Ebo'o Zambe said Rev. Sap has the role of teaching the word of God, healing, preaching and winning souls. He said a pastor who has accepted the call of Christians has to work according to these guidelines. He called on the Christians to love their pastor and to pray for him as he carries out his task. Rev. Jacques Duclaire Sap was born in Ngambe, Sanaga Maritime Division of the Littoral Region on May 29, 1972.
