God is supreme

“What is the use of idol? It only something a human has made, and it tells you nothing but lies. What good does it do for its make to trust its god that cannot even talk’’ Habakkuk 2:18

Among deities; which can be compared to God? God is supreme and the general overseer entirely. Nothing should push you to own any allegiance to idols. Their ways aim at destruction whether performed with thanksgiving or not. Idols are created by human beings purposely for selfish reasons. But God is selfless.

He always makes himself available to supply your needs according to His clock. Where you believe in gods or idols it would be impossible to receive any blessings from God.

In fact, God is unpleased with those who depend on idols for survival. According to His word all those people will be disgraced and humiliated in public.

“All those who make idols are worthless, and the gods they prize so highly are useless. Those who worship these gods are blind and ignorant- and they will be disgraced. Is no good thing making a metal image to worship as a god! Everyone who worships it will be humiliated.

The people who make the idols are human beings and nothing more. Let them come and stand trial- they will be terrified and will suffer disgrace’’ Isaiah 44:9-11
