This was expressed during the third session of the Conference organized by the Council of imams and Muslim dignitaries of Cameroon (CIDIMUC). The Foundation, which will last three days, was organized under the theme, "security and peace in Cameroon: issues, challenges and responsibility of the social actors.

And in the East, there is the influx of refugees and attacks by rebels from the Central African Republic plagued by civil war for several months.

These different situations have been the root cause of the crisis in the far North and East are threatening social peace and cohesion in Cameroon. This led to the reflection initiated by the CIDIMUC on the challenges of peace and security, and more particularly, on the responsibilities of the social actors.

In doing so, the CIDIMUC perpetuates a tradition of his 'unwavering commitment to the ideals of peace, social stability and economic prosperity of our country, along with other religions, the Government and particularly the head of State, Paul Biya.
