The PCC Bastos Congregation now has a new associate pastor. Rev. Gerald Achah Ngoh was introduced during a solemn church service at the Presbyterian Church of Cameroon (PCC) congregation in Bastos, Yaounde, on Sunday November 2, 2014.

In his sermon, the Presbyterial Secretary for East Mungo North, Rev. Samuel Fonki Forba, called on Christians to learn to stick together even when it hurts.

He said if Christians share among themselves, God will bless them and other non-Christians will become Christians. Drawing from the book of Acts 2:42-47 in the Holy Bible, Rev. Fonki prayed that the coming of Rev Gerald Achah Ngoh should bring new life to the Christians of PCC Bastos Congregation and that he should teach them the benefits of unity, love and sharing. He urged the Christians to love and respect the associate pastor and support him in his pastoral mission.

Rev Gerald Achah Ngoh was born on the 8th of April 1974 at Batibo in the North West Region. As Presbyterian, he was baptised and confirmed at PC Wumugi-Batibo on September 25, 1974 and September 11, 1988.

After secondary and high school education in Batibo, he was admitted into the Presbyterian Theological Seminary in September 2001 where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology in May 2004.

Upon graduation from seminary, he was posted to serve respectively in the Akwaya, Mamfe and Azire Presbyteries. He served in the Youth Office of the North West Region for two years and on June 6, 2014, he was transferred to Presbyterian Church Bastos Yaounde as Associate Pastor.
