Protestant Christians begin pilgrimmage

A delegation of 57 Pastors and Christians from member Churches of the Council of Protestant Churches of Cameroon (CEPCA) have left Cameroon for a ten-day pilgrimmage to Israel.

The 17 Pastors and 40 Christians left Cameroon today, June 22, 2016.

Before leaving for Israel, the Pilgrims took part in a special consecration service to pray for GOD's protection and guidance during the pilgrimmage.

The Rt Rev Fonki Samuel, Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon explained that the pilgrimmage will take the Christians to their roots and deepen their faith.

He said that the holy journey will also enable them visit Galilee, River Jordan, Golgotha and other Biblical places.
