A young lady locked-up herself for 26 days in Edea for Jesus to descend.
A young girl named Anne-Marie voluntarily locked herself up in her room for 26 days, fasting and praying for Jesus Christ to descend from heaven.
According to eyewitness accounts, she was dressed in white like the Biblical Mary, the mother of Jesus, when the door of her room was forced open by a curious population.
Surprised at the crowd, the young girl denied ever knowing her mother.
According to her mother, her daughter was introduced to a new church by a close relative without her approval 15 years ago.
Since her joining the church, which according to the mother is more of a sect, Anne-Marie changed her behaviour and perception, and seldom contributes to family matters.
It is said that the person who introduced her to the church has since been jailed for five years for malicious acts. Few minutes after breaking the door, Anne-Marie was taken to the Edea Regional Hospital for checkup.
