UFBC National executives take office

A group of 25 women was commissioned in Douala on June 22, 2014.

Members of the National Bureau of the Union des Femmes Baptistes du Cameroun, UFBC, have been charged to bear good fruits as they take over the affairs of the organisation for the next five years.


outdoored into their various functions on Sunday, June 22, 2014 with a clarion call to bear juicy fruits during their five-year stay at the helm of the union.


The inauguration of the Board to begin their tenure at the helm of affairs of the group as elected representatives was at the union’s 52nd national congress.


Pastor Jean Claude Bassoben, one of the numerous pastors of Union des Eglises Baptistes du Cameroun, UEBC, urged them to yield results with the assistance of the Holy Spirit.


He called on the Almighty to fill the 25-man bureau with wisdom and intelligence and grant them good health to meet the set objectives.

The outgoing president, Christine Mbette, encouraged them to give a new impetus to the union while exercising patience and conviction to succeed in all their endeavours.


In the presence of the Vice President of Union des Femmes Baptistes en Afrique, the incoming president, Annie Rose Mbongo Mounoume, promised to render selfless services to the union, train young girls in dressmaking and hairdressing, empower women financially and strive to complete the construction of their Social Centre.


Among the numerous was the National Praise leader, Julia Eboumbou, who thrilled the public with wonderful choral chants during the occasion.


In the presence of the General President of UEBC, Rev. Dr. Ekoule Maka, Government Delegate to the Douala City Council, Dr. Fritz Ntone Ntone, lauded their contribution in the social, economic, health and educational sectors and pledged his steadfast support to the union.
