AFCON 2015: Let the best win

The 30th edition of the African Nations Cup has kicked off in Bata, Equatorial Guinea with 16 countries to battle for one trophy.

Equato-Guinea President, Theodoro Obianguema Mbazogo said, “let the best team win”.

The Lions left yesterday from Nomad in Libreville, Gabon to Malabo where they would play their first match against Mali on January 20.

Following the programme, the passports of the players left Yaounde yesterday contrary to rumours that the players passports were seized for non-payment of hotel bills, the team press officer has said.
