Cameroon beat Gambia by a goal to nil in the 2017 Africa Cupof Nations qualifiers for Group M.
The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon scored in the 65th minute of the game through a Vincent Aboubakar goal against the Scorpions of Gambia.
Cameroon held on tight to their post in the first half of the game as the Gambians pressed harder for a goal. A few chances were also secured by the Lions but the tough opponents countered successfully to keep the score at 0-0 in the first half.
The stadium in the coastal city of Bakau was filled to capacity with the Scorpions fans dominating the cheers to urge their team to victory.
The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon were facing the Scorpions of Gambia in the second matchday of the 2017 Orange Africa Cup Of Nations Group M qualifiers, looking for their second win which they toiled to secure.
Cameroon edged Mauritania at home in their opening matchday.
