Ligue 1 pair Clinton Njie and Benjamin Moukandjo found the net as Cameroon completed their international tour with a 3-2 victory over Thailand in Bangkok.

The home side started excellently and led 2-0 after 32 minutes following Prakit Deeporm’s opener and an own goal from Galatasaray defender Aurelien Chedjou.

Importantly, Cameroon managed to find a response just before the break when Stade de Reims forward Benjamin Moukandjo halved the deficit.

Volker Finke made a flurry of changes at the break as he gave a number of players the chance to impress.

While the changes slightly affected the Indomitable Lions’ rhythm, they received a penalty on 78 minutes.

Olympique Lyonnais forward Clinton Njie—keen to impress Finke after being largely overlooked during the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations—made no mistake from the spot.

The Central Africans made it two wins out of two at the death when Ngweni Ndasi Kadiang, making only his second appearance for the national side, found the net.

As well as the goalscorers, Ligue 1’s Henri Bedimo (also of Lyon) played the second half.
