This will be in the return leg African Confederation Cup quarter final match against Al Ahly Shandy in Sudan.

Return leg quarter final matches for the African confederations cup will take place in this weekend in stadia across the continent. After missing out on the African champions League, Cameroon's lone representative in continental competitions this year, Coton Sport of Garoua, will be seeking for a draw or defeat which will enable them sail to the group stage of the competition. In the away leg a fortnight ago in Garoua, Coton Sport narrowly edged Al Ahly Shandy 1-0 to take an uncomfortable lead towards qualification.

Things will therefore not be easy for Coton Sport when they travel to Sudan this weekend to challenge Al Ahly Shandy in their own backyard at the City Shandy stadium. AL Ahly Shandy's Tunisian coach Mohamed Kouki says his team is ready to make their own piece of history by winning at home and qualify for group stage for the first time in the club's history. "We have great confidence in ourselves. First, we will work to avoid conceding a goal. Coton Sport is a good team and they pose a danger and are capable of scoring goals. We will play with a balanced approach and will not rush to attack while neglecting our defensive duties", he said. The repeated failure of Coton Sport who have been exercising their hegemony over the national championship for over a decade raises questions about the quality of the domestic league in Cameroon. The competition is dominated by teams from North Africa which are richer and better organized.
