The Deputy Technical Director has accused expatriate coaches of taking the place and money of the Cameroonian technicians. He made this known on Sunday, January 4, 2015, on Equinox Radio, Douala.

"We will make efforts to discourage the engagement of expatriate coaches in Cameroon", he said, promising to prevent foreign technicians from spearheading the selection of the national youth.

"We, the national technical directors in charge of youth selections, will not leave only expatriate coaches to head the lower categories, no matter their level of expertise. Etienne Sockeng suggested to the leadership of clubs as he stressed that it was his wish that the nation focussed on engaging and patronising the services of Cameroonian coaches.
