Fecafoot shares World Cup benefits

Following a press release made public on July 30, Fecafoot Transition President, Joseph Owona has decided to share the Word cup benefits as agreed during the Normalisation Committee meeting of July 22.

Without mentioning the total amount allocated to Fecafoot, Owona and the Normalisation Committee, the release reads, unanimously decided on the allocation of the funds. FCFA 1.2 billion has been earmarked for four artificial playgrounds in the towns of Bafia, Ngaoundere, Ngoumou and Bangante.

A subvention of FCFA 300million is set aside for the construction of technical centres in Kribi, Bertoua, Maroua and Bamenda.

The Committee maintains that the allocation of FCFA 50 million to the South regional league is besides the 27million compensation for the destruction of regional league office.

The Littoral region would receive FCFA 65million for the construction of an office in addition to the FCFA 70million initially allocated for the project.
