Ruud Krol (Head Coach, Tunisia)

We played very well and unfortunately missed a lot of opportunities. Clearly, the return match will not be easy. We did not concede a goal here and it is of great importance. Our aim will be to score in Yaoundé.

Sabeur Khalifa (Striker, Tunisia)

The World Cup is no mean competition, it is the top. We had to restore the honour and prestige of the team after the disappointing result against Cape Verde. We had to give off our best. I hope we can return to Yaoundé and score at least a goal.

Volker Finke (Head Coach, Cameroon)

I'm not surprised by the great performance of the Tunisians because I knew what they were capable of. They have good players, but sometimes they encounter difficulties. This happens very often in Africa when you see a good team encounter a lot of obstacles.

The Tunisians dominated the opening 20 minutes, but we resisted and improved on our game gradually. The new coach of Tunisia (Ruud Krol) brought a lot. He had the courage to do without the services of Youssef Msakni and Oussama Darragi. The return match will be decisive. It will be 50-50 for the Tunisians will be difficult.
