Samuel Eto’o is wanted back by his old club Inter Milan – and they have started trying to woo him.
The veteran forward’s one-year deal at Chelsea expires in June, and the Blues’ manager Jose Mourinho is planning a major summer shake-up of his strike-force.
Cameroon international Eto’o, 33, has scored 11 goals since arriving from Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala on a free in August, but Chelsea do not intend to keep him.
An unwitting Mourinho was recently caught mocking the age of Eto’o, who helped him win a historic treble of the Italian league and cup and the European Cup with Inter four years ago.
Contact has now been made with the striker’s agent, Claudio Vigorelli, about a second spell with the San Siro side.
