Solidarity to reign among new Lions

Before leaving recently for DRC, the team gave the image of a group United, motivated and determined to win at all cost. The New look for the national football selection is entitled to the last hours of training at the Centre of excellence of the Confederation of African football (Caf) to Mbankomo.

At 4 p.m., the Lions left for Lubumbashi where they will compete tomorrow with the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is the first day of the third round of the playoffs in Group D, for Morocco 2015. According the schedule, the first two from each of seven groups, as well as the best third will qualify for the final round. And the games will be played in rounds.


Last Tuesday, the selection of Volker Finke, German coach of the Lions, joined Mbankomo. After exchanges of civility and the outreach meeting, a small technical meeting held in the morning.

A collective exercise was also conducted. This is the time to address more tactical aspects, away from curious eyes. The youngest were quickly made to integrate making it difficult to know who is new or not.
