Shkendija has made a big surprise among Macedonian football fans by bringing in the former national team striker of Cameroon, Mahamadou Idrissou. Meanwhile, he wasn't called up for the other friendly that Macedonia and Cameroon played back in February of 2011 i Skopje.

Idrissou has had a lengthy European career, playing mostly in Germany with the likes of FSV Frankfurt, Wehen, Hannover 96, Duisburg, Freiburg, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Eintracht Frankfurt and Kaiserslautern.
