Following the draws of the U-17 African Youth Championship, Cameroon is in Group B with Ivory Coast-title holders, South Africa and Mali.
Cameroon in Group B is based in Niamey the capital of Niger where they would play their first game against Mali on February 16, the second against the title holders Ivory Coast on February 19 and the last against South Africa on February 22.
The Baby Elephants are the hard nuts to crack in this group as they have made it to the World Cup surviving the group stage.
Group A is made up of host, Niger, Nigeria, Guinea and Zambia.The teams that qualify for the semi-finals automatically pick their tickets for the World Cup.
Cameroon was absent from the competition in 2009 and made it this year as a result of the disqualification of Ghana for aligning over aged players.
