The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon are set to clash against Cote d’Ivoire in their final 2015 CAF African Cup of Nations match on Wednesday night and the skipper, Stephane Mbia believes they’re serene.
The match is the final tie for Volker Finke’s side as they wrap up their group campaign in what is termed the group of death.
The four-time continental champions opened the tournament with a 1-1 draw against Guinea and played their second match which ended with the same margin versus Mali last Saturday.
Now a win will seal their qualification to the quarters.
The Sevilla FC man said they’re prepared for the must win tie against Herve Renard’s men as they target a spot in the knockout stages.
“We are serene. We prepared well for that game, there is a real feeling of strength in this team, that comes from our qualifying campaign,” said Mbia.
“Everything will come down to the mind-set - both teams have good individuals but that is once again the spirit that will make the difference.”
The match is set to get underway at Estadio de Malabo and the other match between the National Elephants and The Eagles will be staged at Estadio de Mongomo, both clashes will run concurrently at 20:00 (SA time).
