What a show! Cameroon has delighted the 35,000 spectators at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium in Yaounde on Sunday second leg match of the 2014 World Cup playoffs against Tunisia (4-1). It was for the Indomitable Lions to start the show as of the 3rd minute by Achille Webo.

Tunisia could not recover and let Cameroon handle the game in full control. Benoit Assou-Ekotto could not offer the 2-0 to his side until Benjamin Moukandjo did it at the 30th minute with a number of outstanding solo. The Carthage Eagles lack opportunities and went to the break with a handicap of two goals.

The Makoun show!

Upon resumption, Ruud Krol makes changes that became productive. Ahmed Akaichi upon entry just sent a lightening in the Itandje net. At this point, Cameroon is still qualified but a Tunisian goal could change that. Behind, the Eagles thwart again. This was the right time for Jean Makoun to start his show.

Once on a corner, he deploys his 65 meter to register the third goal. He even proved altruistic when planning the doubled and serves Choupo-Moting but his pass is incorrectly adjusted. Then in the 86th, he returned to finish the job. A shot by Moting pole back into his feet, a hook and then a shot into the empty goal. Nothing else will happen to the Indomitable Lions. Cameroon has just ensured their 7th World Cup participation.
