The signing comes on the heels of the victory against the Democratic Republic of Congo in the first qualifying match for the 2014 World Cup to take place in Brazil and puts an end to rumours that there was a bid for the appointment of a new and befitting coach for the Indomitable Lions. The move places Denis Lavagne in a good mind frame to continue the reconstruction work of the national football team.
