CMR ready to partake in 17th female world volleyball champ

15 Players were selected for the tournament which begins 23 September. The 15 Players have been selected by the technical staff for these 17es world volleyball championships planned from 23 September to October 12, 2014 in Italy.

The Lions are housed in group B at Trieste, a city located in the Northeast of Italy. The Lions will play their first game on September 23 against Canada.

The Cameroon will also play against Serbia, Turkey and Bulgaria. In the list of 15 players, Juliette Asta Gamkoua is the oldest in terms of experience. In 2006, Juliette Asta Gamkoua was part of those who represented the Cameroon to its first women's world. With Rose Beleng and Ruth Diboue, they ended 21st in the tournament.

As in 2006, the Lions have been entitled to a preparation fragrance, but this time with internships in Poland, Slovenia and Turkey. Jean-rené Akono, recently appointed by the president of the Federation of Cameroonian volleyball as breeder #1, who replaced Joseph Nane Bong.
