Cameroon’s Volleyball Lions aced-out

The Cameroon Volleyball Lions are at the verge of elimination after registering two successive defeats in the 18th edition of the Worlds’ Men Volleyball Championship in Poland.

The team has already lost two of the three matches in the first round of the championship with no point.

The third and last match shall be fielded on Thursday, 4th September at Midday against Argentina.

During the first match on 31st August with Australia the Volleyball lions were trashed 3 sets to 0 (25-22, 25-15, 25-18).

Then the German born Volleyball lions Coach, Peter Nonnenbroich, expressed optimism prior to the second match against Venuzuela, which took place on Tuesday, September 2nd in the Poland city of Wroclaw.

The optimism was short-lived as the Volleyball Lions bowed out to Venezuela by three sets to one.

According to bookmakers, Poland and Venezuela shall get their qualification ticket if Argentina beats Cameroon in their next match.
