Government concerned with a growth rate goal of 6% in 2016

The Interdepartmental Committee review of programs (CIEP) of the Government of Cameroon has expressed its "concern" in achieving the level of growth of 6% for the year 2016, retained by the strategy for growth and employment (OCSG).

"In a report released in the aftermath of its session held from 24 July to 12 August and dedicated to the preparation of the Finance Act of next year, this instance of capacity-building, awareness-raising and communication on reform notes" an Achievers ' logic of development of the project's performance of the administration.

Thus, examination of the strategies of the current year including highlighted their heterogeneous nature, with a proven fix departments concerned to clarify their level of performance on a given date.

"In terms of steering and coordination of programmes, and with regard to budget implementation, the CIEP invited the competent authorities" to implement an effective performance management framework, in which the dialogue of management becomes a reality between the main actors.

"Regarding the conduct and governance reforms, the Government now intends to put an end to the multiple dysfunctions identified linking organic texts of the different authorities in the logic of" programme budget "inaugurated in 2013.

For 2015, the CIEP has developed a mapping of 160 programs (as in the ending year) for 41 departments and agencies under supervision to be followed by 169 performance indicators, against 174 in 2014.
