The first-ever Islamic radio station in Yaounde has been inaugurated this 24th March 2015 at the Cite Verte neighbourhood.

The new radio station, Arrisola FM, broadcasting on 102.1 as frequency modulation, was inaugurated in an event presided over by the Minister of Communication, Issa Tchiroma Bakary.

The pioneer Managing Bureau of the radio station was also installed during the occasion.

The managing bureau explained that the station targets Muslims in particular, as well as Cameroonians as a whole.
