Great revelation.I really do think that a lot has to be done from a legal perspective to better implement these laws. Without which the rights of girls and women in Cameroon will continue to hang in the balance with victims having no where to run to and no one to trust. If we as a country adopt a legal system that severely punishes and sanctions at all levels those who violate the rights of girls and women, then sooner or later, men will begin to understand that being married to a woman doesn't make her their property and fathers will dread the idea of using their 12 years old daughters to settle their decade old debts.
