Militants of the Cameroon People's Democratic Movement (CPDM, USA), grouped under the leadership of Patience Tamfu, (Section President) have declared their unflinching support to President Paul ahead of the forthcoming Presidential elections in Cameroon.
In a well-worded motion of Support, issued on February 17, 2016, USA-CPDM unanimously chose the President of the CPDM, as a candidate.

Motion of Support
To The Head of State, President of the Republic of Cameroon, Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, His Excellency President Paul Biya, sitting in an Extra Ordinary CPDM USA Section Executive Conference, convened by the Section President Mrs. Patience Tamfu.
On behalf of our Subsections, Branches and Militants; we unanimously resolved to renew our loyalty, to the CPDM party and to the National Chairman H.E Paul Biya, President of the Republic.
Acknowledging that peace and stability are vital pre-conditions for political growth and economic development;
Inspired by the relentless fight in the war against Boko Haram terrorists;
Aware of the role the Government has played in offering meaningful solutions to pressing socio-political, economic and cultural challenges faced by Cameroonians;
Recognizing the progress made so far in infrastructural development, which will facilitate free flow of commerce especially from farms to the markets;
Encouraged that Cameroon is instituting new reforms and improvements in the private sector to lure more investments to Cameroon;
* Noting further the international community's increasing confidence in Cameroon's ability to foster innovation and progress based on its human values, the strength of its youth, its rich and abundant natural resources;
We, militants of the Cameroon People's Democratic Movement Party in the United States of America (CPDM USA) this February 17, 2016, unanimously declare our unflinching support to President Paul Biya, National Chairman of our party as our chosen candidate in the forthcoming Presidential elections.
