Dieudonne M. Mbala detained in Montreal airport

Dieudonne Mbala Mbala arrived Tuesday, May 10, 2016, in Montreal-Canada where he was expected to perform.

The Franco-Cameroonian humorist who recently hit the headlines was held at the Montreal International Airport by at least two officers of the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA).

It is still unclear why the Canadian Border Agency arrested him. On his Facebook page where he posted his picture shows him sitting in an airport lobby, he left this message ” Dieudonné live from Montreal:” very soon I will make a return trip, but coming back … I’ll be in Montreal tomorrow “in peace,” he writes.

The announced return to Canada did occur because on the same page, Dieudonné Mbala Mbala posted this Wednesday, May 11, 2016, a triumphalist strand “Dieudonne will do well his show tonight for the spectators in Montreal and on the rest of the nights, stay connected … we’ll keep you informed! Dieudonné M’Bala M’Bala, is a comedian, actor and French political activist from Cameroon, born on February 11, 1966 in Fontenay-aux-Roses. His statements during his performances in France and elsewhere have been antisemitic and have also triggered heated debates.
