A picnic moment with the Bold and Beautiful Cameroon Ladies (BBCL)

BBCL Picnic

The Bold and Beautiful Cameroon Ladies (BBCL) organized a picnic to discuss their successes, their ambition and the way forward for ambitious young Cameroonian ladies.

The hangout was held last weekend and here is a short summary from the creator of the page, Créscence Elodie, on how it went.

“Among those present at the BBCL picnic chill out were the representatives of MyMaud Agency, ModeMaison PR, Fabafriq, First Class Management, Rose Rita (designer of ethno-chic accessories), Michelle Carine (decorator), Manuela (cosmetics), Max a professional photographer (oh yes a man, why not?), and many others who are not always part of the BBCL family online but who still do have excellent personal projects.

This meeting was an opportunity on the one hand to put a face on most of the active members of the group (what we expected in organising this event) and also discuss in a warm and relaxed atmosphere our activities and ambitions.

It is in this light that ModeMaison PR exhibited some if its showroom products (cosmetics), Fabafriq represented by Monalisa and Binta gave a speech on the topics covered in their magazine (sure it’s a good magazine but we francophones, would like a little bit more French in it!).

First Class Management represented by Créscence Elodie reported about her luxury concierge concept, MyMaud hostess agency represented by Tatiana presented also. We also discovered Manuela with her website project for beauty providers, we discovered the decorator Michelle Carine, the accessories designer Rose Rita, and even men were part of the event”.

The BBCL page on Facebook represents the Bold and Beautiful Cameroon Ladies who all share one thing in common – ambition.

They are all ambitious in their personal projects with the overall aim of changing the culture and entertainment and even business sectors in Cameroon.

Beyond the networking side of this exchange, it was a time of laughter and of sharing. It would be nice to renew this event and hopefully make the attendance numbers even greater.
