Adah Akenji, Sound Engineer, music & movie director
The AMusic boss, Adah Akenji, Sound Engineer, music & movie director, actor and an ambassador of the Cameroon the Green Light Award, is making a u-turn next month in the music scene. Adah is coming back.
Adah’s coming back is a no strange gist to the Cameroonian because he constitutes one of the ring leaders of the entertainment industry.
Adah has virtually worked with almost every artist in Cameroon: Jovi, Jay Jay, Magasco, C-Prime, Ngoma, Numerica, Ciana, Gahou,Baby Loed , DJ O, Sine… and has been the brain behind many amazing video clips going out of the country like: Nkap, House Boy, Tongo, Wopallo, On Va Gerer, and many others.
In 2012 in Bamenda, I bought Adah’s album Nyango which was a collection of more than 9 tracks, a fusion of Cameroon soul makossa, Njang and the afro-pop melodies with the official remix “Feeling My Superstar” by Ice Prince’s and other featuring with great names like DJ O, Sine and many others.
The suspend for Adah’s package this Sunday, 5th June 2016 is creating a lot of street jubilation as if Jovi and Stanley Enow has decided on holding a press conference.
Adah said “I am coming to music as a singer”…. fingers cross and heads up.
