Cameroonian producer, Agbor Gilbert Ebot shocked his fans yesterday when he took to Facebook to call out Mr Otia Vitalis for continuing to act as the President (Board Chair) of the Cameroon Film Industry after being "elected out of office".

The following is what Mr Age wrote:

"If you think you are leading and turn around to see no one following, then you are just taking a walk.

Mr Otia Vitalis, you have been elected out of office. Stop, just deal with it and stop running from radio to radio in the name of calling a General Assembly of the Cameroon Film Industry CFI.

Plus don't give your money to Mr Otia in the name of registration fee into the Cameroon Film Industry CFI.

This is on Facebook so you can see it. My name is Age"

The Cameroon Film Industry was founded in 2008 and Waa Musi was the founding President of the Care Taker Committee from 2008 to 2013.

The mission of the committee was to structurize the Film Industry, legalize it and to create it's different guilds (6).

In 2013, Waa Musi together with the other Care Taker Committee members organized the first ever Elective Assembly where Mr Otia Vitalis was voted as the President of the Cameroon Film Industry (Board Chair).

Mr Otia had mandated to govern for three years, after which it can be renewed ones according to the constitution of the organisation.

Unfortunately, Mr Otia Vitalis' board members at the end of his first term of office, signed a document to impeach him and called for an elective assembly which was held in Buea on May 28, 2016.

In Buea, a new board was put in place headed by Mr Alex Mbeoah.

On the other hand, Mr Otia Vitalis had already called for an assembly which is to hold in Yaounde on June 10, 2016.

We are informed that according to the constitution of the Cameroon Film Industry, only the President has the power to call for an elective assembly.

This has resulted to two acting presidents, Otia Vitalis and Alex Mbeoah.
