Annie Anzouer was the star of the day at the second edition of the Mayo- Kani Cultural Fair that took place in the Far North region of Cameroon.

The show that started last year is now a tradition as the people, elites and dynamic forces of the locality organize the turn-out in their numbers for the “Cultural Unity Fair."

According to the Divisional Officer, DO of Mayo- Kani, Emmanuel Ledoux Engamba, president of the organizing committee, “the spirit of the event is to promote national integration and even sub-regional," he continues.

This is what justifies the presence of a strong Chadian delegation led by Abubakar Musa Roufaou , DO of Mayo Binder, one of the departments of the Republic of Chad border in Mayo- Kani Cameroon.

Present were artists such as Cameroonian singer Aîcha Kandé , famous in the region of the East.

It was Annie Anzouer the “Kribi Mermaid” who sent the people of Kaélé rocking.

Also, cultural dance groups from Moudang, Toupouri , Guiziga , Guidar showed their expertise. 15 traditional dance groups also ensured the show.

For the award of prizes, the group from Taïbong Qurna won the special prize of the Head of State, the Ringou Boboyo group won that of the First Lady awarded, Chantal Biya while the Gouma with Guidar won that of National Unity.
