Cameroon hosts 'Classicals meet Hip Hop'

An evening dubbed 'Classicals meet Hip Hop' took place Wednesday, December 10 at the Goethe-Institut Kamerun in Bastos.

This event is the product of a cross-cultural collaboration between Germany and Cameroon in the areas of classical music and Hip Hop Dancing. 'Classic meets Hip Hop' brought the German artists Andreas Kern (pianist) and Storm (Hip Hop choreographer); and the Hip Hop Cameroonian 'X-Trem Fusion', Paco Mbassi (balafon), Georges Onguéné (percussions), Hermann Teutu (violon), Ayriq Akam and Valsero (textes).

The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Yaoundé and the Goethe-Institut Kamerun were pleased to present the event.
