A press conference has been organised in Yaounde to evaluate the evolution of preparations for Cameroonian-born ace music icon, Charlotte Dipanda’s concert.
The press briefing organised this 26th March 2015 was to update media men on modalities for the concerts and equip them with the necessary gadgets for the events.
The concerts scheduled for 10th and 11th April 2015 in Douala and Yaounde respectively, will serve to officially release the artist’s third album entitled “Massa”.
The event manager, Ferdinand Nana Payong explained that the preparations ahead of the concerts in Douala and Yaounde are going on hitch-free.
He mentioned that tickets for both concerts are available at about 50 sale points in Yaounde and 30 in Douala. He however reiterated that the concert in Douala shall be a closed-ticket one hence those interested in attending it should buy tickets early enough.
Ferdinand Nana Payong emphasised that to prevent the sale of counterfeit tickets, the tickets have a unique appearance and coded numbering with both sides having special protection signs he added that the buyer’s phone number will be registered in the stump upon purchase.
Charlotte Dipanda is a Cameroonian artist who sings in the Douala and Bakaka languages. Born in 1985, she stands out in music due to her enchanting voice and expressive songs.
According to the manger of her concert, Ferdinand Nana Payong, Charlotte’s resistance and ability to standout is thanks to her degree of commitment.
