Denroy drops new single ‘Harambe’

Denroy a “Bamenda-raised, London-based” poet/artist releases his debut single titled Harambe.

Harambe is a song laced with subtle political and social messages and aims to show solidarity to the #BlackLivesMatter movement by highlighting and drawing parallels between the killing of a silverback gorilla at the Cincinnati Zoo in May this year and the ongoing police brutality and shootings of unarmed blacks in the U.S. Produced by Buea-based producer Edi Ledrae and recorded in London.

Harambe is a high energy record with a catchy tune with a groovy trap beat.
