Eunice Enjoh of the rising Cameroonian fashion label, UNICE, has uncovered an unusual 2015 collection she calls ‘Virtuous’.
According to the brand, Virtuous Collection is for a woman of moral excellence, class, style and a woman who exhibits strength, courage, braveness, purity and valiant. Virtuous Collection is fashion that expresses the true inner and physical beauty of a Lady in an African style with the use of high-quality fabrics to fit all sizes.
“My inspiration for this collection was simply the personality of a Virtuous woman. It has pieces ranging from dresses with risque sheer inserts, sheer panelling, clutches and more.”

Glow MOnAT: Hi Eunice it’s an honour having you for an interview; please can you introduce yourself to our lovely readers?
Unice: I am Enjoh Eunice, a female and Cameroonian. I was born and live in Douala with origin from the North West Region. I am from a family of three and I love fashion.
GM: How did your interest in fashion begin?
Unice: Well the interest began from my early age where I will always want to stand out with my appearance. I am always selective on what to wear. I loved playing with fabrics by transforming all my mother's old outfits and wear them. I discovered that, before I dress I have an image of it already. This continued all through my life and at a certain point my friends began to address me as “the designer” or “Eu the designer.”
GM: Tell us more about your brand.
Unice: UNICE is a luxurious and upscale clothing line from an innovative mind to bring you quality, distinctive, sophisticated and timeless style of fashion with high-quality product to fit all sizes
GM: Tel us about your new collection Virtuous and the inspiration behind it?
Unice: Virtuous Collection just as the meaning of Virtuous which is "Good" can be referred to an "ideal of Goodness."

My inspiration for this collection was simple the personality of a Virtuous woman.
GM: Why did you choose different colour palettes for this new collection?
Unice: Talking about colours; well when you see life from a very bright perspective you can't help but see and involve colours. Sometimes a colour may come up and minutes after a design will come to my mind. So I begin to work on that design till I get satisfied. So I can say colours do inspire me too. Especially black which is my favourite colour.
GM: From your past collection, I have noticed you love using prints. Do you study the designs and the patterns before coming out with any new collection?
Unice: Oh Sure. In fact, this is one of my best part in coming up with a collection, where I have to study the design, pattern and choose the colour to be used. I always feel excited about doing that.
GM: What do you think makes Unice so luxurious as a brand?
Unice: I think it's the fact that we produce desirable and rare well studied, creative, edgy, durable and high-quality products with good taste and finishing.
GM: Any plans to expand your brand in terms of accessories or beauty products?
Unice: Sure, excluding beauty products, UNICE is presently a brand that produces luxurious clothing and accessories like Bags, clutches, shoes, flats, caps, bangles, and earrings.
GM: Is there someone in the fashion industry who inspires you?
Unice: Wow I do admire a lot;, not one person in particular and like I often say designers are the best in the Cameroon entertainment industry.
GM: What projects are you currently undertaking and where do you see yourself in the future?
Unice: Honestly, we have a lot and I don't know how to start mentioning: From my brand been used in movies, to international sales, to fashion shows, organizing sales event, contracts and new collections. So I think from now till next year June UNICE will have a moment of rest and for where we see our self in the future I will answer with one word which is International.
Adding to that we see UNICE has a fashion industry with huge supplies of her product distributed in thousands in the market nationally and internationally
GM: Finally, what do you think makes Unice label a distinctive successful brand in today's overly crowded fashion world?
Unice: OK. I’m going to shock you here. Maybe it's the fact that I do not see UNICE as a brand or fashion line. I see UNICE as a vision and destiny. So on my part I just do what I have to do by putting in my best effort taking it step by step, studying my target market, more research, thereby making outfits that make you feel “apart from the crowd" and am happy today to hear you call it a "distinctive and successful brand."
GM: Last word to upcoming designers?
Unice: I have three advice. Firstly I will advise them all to concentrate and focus (focus on your creativity and finishing). A designer whose mind is creative enough will remain on the number one spot for so long. Your creativity pushes you further. Secondly, to hold on to their dream. Thirdly do not talk much but let your products or work talk for you because that is your selling point
