Betrand Smith was born in Cameroon, where he officially started the struggle in achieving his goals of becoming a renowned fashion designer since 2010. Holding firm to his hustle and taking his brand, Smith Brown, to the international scene.
Smith is an ambitious, highly creative and innovative African fashion designer. He has attended lots of fashion shows and met other people with different backgrounds, got influential white models wearing his designs.
In order to gain more experience and take his designs to a professional level, Brown attended fashion workshops and visited worldwide influential fashion brands like Diesel, Fred Perry, Louis Vuitton, Channel, Adidas, and many other Fashion stores so as to study and be knowledgeable about the different fashion cultures that exist and how they operate.
Brown has equally toured around Kenya and UAE and gained much knowledge of the fashion world which he hopes to become an international phenomenon too.
Smith was able to design a Guinness reception dress out of ‘Guinness bottle corks’ which is highly acclaimed by international fashion designers.
